The interior of your home, is it forgotten?
Kitchens, baths and basements are likely the most
common major renovations done today. Not to forget that painting and
flooring have their place. New doors, window trims and baseboard are a
great way to update a lackluster area. Keeping the doors and trim style
consistent with the design should not be over looked.
A little research goes along way when trying to accomplish a
particular look or feel.
Everyone knows that limestone conveys relaxation
and warmth, while darker finishes can supply a completely different
look.
Cooking and entertaining can be synonymous, opening
a kitchen can mean you need two dishwashers or a second sink, so that
the counters are free of clutter. Most
of us grew up with buffets and china cabinets in our parent’s dining
room. The formal dining room is slowing pushed out for the sake of
built-ins.
